Onthewalkbackhome,Jem hearsnoisesbehindhimandScout.TheythinkitmustbeCecilJacobstryingtofrighten themagain,butwhentheycallouttohim,theyhearnoreply.Theyhavealmostreachedthe roadwhentheirpursuerbeginsrunningafterthem.Thishastoscarethem.Itscaresthem evenmorewhenScoutwasnearlystabbed.But,shehadchickenwirewrappedaroundher fromthehamcostumefromtheplay.ThiswasverycloseforScout.But,Boosavedthe kidsandthekidsreturnedhomesafely. #12 IdontthinktherewasverymuchfearinthechildreninthesechaptersbecauseEwellwas deadandtheyhadAtticusandMr.Tatewiththem.Ithinkmostofthefearcamefrom Atticus.HedidntshowitverymuchbutImjustguessingthathewasfearfulofhiskids lives.Mr.TateandAtticuslistentoScouttellhersideofthestoryastohowithappened. AtticusbelievesthatJemstabbedBobEwellinselfdefense.Mr.TatekepttellingAtticus thatJemdidntdoit.Mr.TatekeepssayingthatEwelltrippedandfellontheknife,killing himself.Allthistime,Booisleaningagainstawallinthecorner.ItisobviousthatMr.Tate knowsthatBookilledEwellandthatheisjusttryingtocoveritupbecausehedoesntwant Bootohavetodealwithgoingtocourtandstuff.ScoutwalksBoohomeandsherealizes thatBoosviewofeverythingthathasbeengoingoninthebookisdrasticallydifferentthan shethoughtitwas.
