Spondylosis

SPONDYLO is a Greek word meaning vertebra. Spondylosis

means changes in the vertebral joint characterized by increasing degeneration of the intervertebral disc with subsequent changes in the bones and soft tissues.

Cervical spondylosis

Cervical spondylosis is a disorder that results from abnormal growth of the bones of the neck and degeneration and mineral deposits in the cushions between the vertebrae.

Lumbar Spondylosis

It is associated with degenerative changes in the intervertebral discs and facet joints. It encompasses lumbar disk bulges, herniations, facet joint degeneration, and vertebral bony overgrowths (osteophytes).
