Jonathan Mushrush English 1010 Professor Patten

Letter of Transmittal

Professor Patten, I hope that I accomplished revising my papers using the constructive criticism you or the writing center gave me. My hope is that I wrote each of the three papers the best I could have and that each of them make as much sense to anyone who reads them as they do in my own opinion. My target audience is you of course as the professor of the class, but as well as anyone who may stumble upon my e-portfolio and read any or all of them. The revisions I made to each of my main papers this semester were subtle on some and most in depth on others. On my Issue paper I had too many Is in one of my paragraphs that was not my conclusion, so I changed those out reworded those sentences. I also forgot to put in the references to my cited works that I used. On my rhetorical analysis paper I used up too much vital space with a quote from Amy Tans paper, which she was translating from one language to another and how weird it sounded. I think I have grown in the respect of how to approach writing in general the most. I kicked most if not all of my bad habits I had when trying to write a paper. Granted I dont always follow my new rules when writing, but when I really need to concentrate I do. Thanks for a great class Devin, Jonathan Mushrush
