Hunter Whitehead Professor Dalton English 1010 Fall Semester 2013 Reflection Overall, I enjoyed English 1010 taught

by Professor Dalton very much. During this course I wrote three main papers: a reflection, a visual analysis, and a proposal. These papers helped me improve my rhetoric writing strategies, critical thinking processes, composing processes, and conventions of writings. With each paper we were required to participate in a series of in-class peer review workshops. This was very helpful in getting feedback from my classmates and it encouraged me to put more effort into my writing. The majority of this course was centered on working in group discussions and activities. These group discussions were beneficial yet rather fun. I have uploaded my best of the three papers from this course below. This is a proposal paper that I wrote in urge to change Utahs liquor laws. I have discussed how, when, and why its a problem and in the second half of the paper I proposed a solution to the problem. This paper was intended for the people of Utah.
