Hector Brea English 108 Professor Monaghan Portfolio Reflection

I can say that English was never at the top of my favorite subjects but this class changed that. I learned how to write a good APA style essay and I was able to learn the format so I could use throughout my college years. I was able to learn how to start with a thesis and then answer that thesis throughout the essay and end it with a conclusion. This class also helped me with in text citations and quoting from different essays into one essay which helps towards proving my point. I came in writing the first essay like a research assignment and towards the end that changed so now I could write both, a college essay and a college research assignment. I will use what I learned in these 8 weeks in every other class I have in the future.
