The Supreme Military Council [SMC] wishes to refute the

false allegations circulating in the media and on the Internet
surrounding General Salim Idriss fleeing to a Gulf country.
The SMC can confirm that the Chief of Staff is present at this
time, performing all of his functions and meeting with fellow
senior military leaders and frontline commanders.
Such rumours only serve to impact on the morale of our
brothers fighting on the ground at a time when we need to
concentrate on stopping the criminal regime, which continues
to perpetrate horrific massacres all over the country against
our people.
