INTRODUCTON The aim of this report is to describe and evaluate my six weeks experience with Quang Ngai Sugar

Joint-stock company and to make recommendations for the future. ABOUT THE COMPANY Quang Ngai Sugar Joint-stock company is one of the oldest and most famous companies in Vietnam, dating back to 1962. It employs as many as 10,000 people nationwide and is presented in over 30 provinces in the country. The company maily produces sugar, soya milk, mineral water, beer. It also has a well qualified and highly skilled contingent staff, together with a strong leadership. MY WORK EXPERIENCE During my six weeks with Quang Ngai Sugar Joint-stock company, I was assigned to work in two different departments. BUSINESS DEPARTMENT My first three weeks placement was in the business department. Here, I learnt how to range goods orders as well as to market the products. In addition, I helped to set up a TV advertisement with several programs. IMPORT-EXPORT DEPARTMENT During the final three weeks, I worked in the Import-export department, where I learnt how to check the quality of the products exported to other countries, and relating documents. GENERAL COMMENT Overall, I found my time with Quang Ngai Sugar Joint-stock company extremely beneficial. The people were very helpful. I obtained a good understanding of the departments functions. However, I believe I would have benefited even more if my work experience has been for longer period. CONCLUSION To sum up, Quang Ngai Sugar Joint-stock company is an ideal company with which to do work experience. I have no hesitation in recommending that in future more students should be sent there.
