Vibration Analysis - CO2 Blower, Gearbox bearing defect The CO2 Blower is part of the Lime Kiln Process. It draws gasses from the Top of the Lime Kiln, which are then pumped into the carbs. Monthly Vibration readings are taken throughout the campaign. In Dec 2003 the vibration levels on the input shaft of the reduction gearbox showed a sharp rise in acceleration G (impact) levels.
