Chapter 8 Writing & Reporting Within Your Field Agency

Writing, reporting and documentation are a little different at the Police Athletic League of Wilmington (PALW) than most agency/organizations. I used various methods of reporting during my internship tenure, and my site supervisor was very pleased with all of them. Communication is the key to the success of any endeavor so for me using various methods of communication to my site supervisor, Police Athletic League of Wilmington (PALW) staff, board members, city officials, and the community is key to the success of the program moving forward. It is important that you keep everyone involved with the vision of the organization on the bus and up-to-date.
