(1) 0-5 pts. The application of research and resources are not incorporated into the Animoto trailer. Photographs and blurbs/key points are not incorporated into trailer. (2) 6-10 pts. Application of research is mediocre. There are minimal connections to resources. Students only incorporate only one photograph and/or one blurb and/or digital publication into trailer. Presented information is not organized. (3) 11-15 pts. Meaningful application of research into trailer. At least four connections are made to research resources. Students show creativity, effort, and both photographs, blurbs, and digital publications into trailer. Information is decently organized. Very good analysis of the resources in trailer. Both causes and effects of Hurricane Sandy are incorporated into trailer. The intent of the trailer clear and complete with cause and effect integrated sequentially. (4) 16-20 points Comprehensive application of the research is included. Shows extraordinary creativity, exceptional effort, and opportunities for key ideas to be developed. At least two photographs, two blurbs, and two digital publications are included. Information is extremely cohesive and organized. A comprehensive analysis of resources. At least three aspects of both cause and effect are depicted visually and with text regarding Hurricane Sandy. The intent of the trailer is understood, organized, and well-thought out. Students have no grammatical or mechanical errors. Trailer writing has clearly been revised and edited prior to submission.
