Krebs: I looked over the PowerPoint handouts you handed to me a few days earlier with the design team. We felt that your PowerPoint needed major revisions to the wording and the design of the slides. On the first set of slides, we noticed that the overall design of the slides was plain. We modified the color of a normal template and added a logo into all of the slides. Secondly, all of the slides contained lengthy sentences. We were able to shorten most of these sentences and move the unwanted text into speaker notes that are integrated into the PowerPoint. The speaker notes are a useful feature that eliminates clutter from the slides and provides a discrete way of reading notes. On the second set of slides, we encountered lengthy sentences again. We broke up the second slide into three slides and integrated the sentences in the speaker notes. The first slide was not changed, as it is not cluttered. Lastly, the slide with the table was broken up into four slides, each covering a benefit. The table contained too many words, and we felt that this was best in making the PowerPoint less cluttered. We included speaker notes in the new slides to aid in presenting them. Overall, we recommend that you use our revised PowerPoint files in your presentation. Our revisions helped make them look more professional and appealing to the audience. Sincerely, Ken Gomez
