acts, I can safely say that I do not have any amount of sympathy for Macbeth at all. Almost all of Macbeth and his wife's actions have been vicious, hoping that the witches fortunes come through. Another reason that I personally do not feel any real sympathy for Macbeth is that nearly all of his actions, as king, have been corrupt and evil ones. I was very satisfied with the way the play ended, is because the rule of tyrant Macbeth came to a halt. The simple reason is that every problem or situation is resolved, in one way or another. I also liked the ending to the play because the Son of King Duncan ends up as the new King, thus avenging his fathers death. I think that Both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth ended up having severe psychological problems due to their extreme guilt. Even though Macbeth was delusional by his misdeeds, Lady Macbeth was the one who killed herself due to extreme guilt. Another way it affected Macbeth was the illusions of Banquo's ghost he kept seeing after he had him killed. If I had to find sympathy towards either of the two, I suppose I would choose Macbeth solely because that even though he had the ambition to be king, he never wanted to take the initiative, he was pressured into doing what he did by his cunning wife .
