a. "Lazy eye." Decreased vision in one or both eyes without detectable anatomic

damage in the eye or visual pathways. Usually uncorrectable by eyeglasses or contact lenses.

4) Astigmatism a. Optical de%ect in which re%ractive power is not uni%orm in all directions
