A Good Reputation Is More Valuable than Money

According to the continuous development of the humanity it is well known that people have dreams and aspirations, set goals and spend the time of their lives trying to achieve these objectives. People are affected by various things like social environment, money, reputation and others on their way to success. The key points of a human beings success are money and reputation, which define, in fact, its personal wealth and prosperity. During their entire lives people tend to earn money, which are objects or record that are generally accepted as payment for goods and services, to ensure their material e istence and to build their own reputation which represents an opinion about a certain entity, typically a result of social evaluation on a set of criteria, which outlines the social portrait of a person, organi!ation, company or nation. "e can earn money everytime we want, we have the possibility to start over and over until we succeed, but these things do not refer to our reputation, because it is harder to gain and maintain. The reputation is the result of all the things which were said and done, of all our actions and ideas, therefore it characteri!es our inner world observed by the people who surround us and the community we live in. A persons reputation is influenced by different factors like his#her mood, attitude towards different people, stress, achievements, wishes. "e deal wit these things every day, and that is way it is vital to control ourselves successfully paying attention to the things we say or do, because a reputation once broken may possibly be repaired, but the world will always keep its eyes on the spot where the crack was. $or e ample, if a person who was considered a very nice one, who was respected by everyone behaves inappropriately at least once, it will have a great impact on its reputation and people will e pect such a behavior to happen again. %owever we cannot say the same about a person who lost his#her money, because he#she will continue to gain it, and the people who left will return and the life will go on without fears and hypocritical e pectations from others. "e can firmly say that the &uotation 'a good reputation is more valuable than money( presents the reality, because money are just a material tool which helps us through life, but reputation is a fundamental instrument of social order, based upon distributed, spontaneous social control. )t is necessary to be mentioned that a mans reputation outlasts his money, and after the time passes, and the richness of a person disappeared his#her reputation is all that remains and survives throughout the history. A great number of different economical or juridical structures try to build a good reputation, promote a lot of political strategies in order to do this, because the e istence of such a reputation determine the success and the future of a company. organi!ation is to gain a good opinion from those who use their services, which is identified with a brilliant reputation. )t is said that a name is what others think you are and the e isting companies try to use the consumers opinions to create a brand. "hether someone is running a small business or leading a multi*national company, building and protecting its reputation is essential. A brand for a company is like a reputation for a person. +ou earn reputation by trying to do hard things well. ,ompanies work furiously to establish a positive reputation among their target audience, primarily because favorable opinions can translate into real money. That is why big companies spend a lot of money and time protecting and increasing their reputation. This way they create a successful and constant system which will ensure the prosperity and the success of the products or services of a certain company. A good reputation attracts people who want to own the best things and who are willing to spend huge sums for the things which are cheaper in the companies without a great name. This proves the fact that nothing is compared to a good reputation, even money. This saying may refer to nations also. The prestige of a country is determined by its reputation and culture, and not by its money. "e are the only ones who create our destiny and reputation and it is e tremely important to remember that money can be earned everytime, using different methods, but our reputation id the most e pensive thing, we should earn it correctly, keep it, protect it, and work for increasing it.
