Hosianis kindergarten classroom, children are discovering, exploring and investigating through play-based learning. During center time, children actively explore as they manipulate objects, act out roles, and experiment with various materials. Providing such play-based learning opportunities builds upon childrens natural curiosity as they question, connect, and discover together. Information and communication technology is also infused. Recently Mrs. Hosaini, or Mrs. H, as she is affectionally called, has introduced children to the educational benefits of iPad technology. Exploring the variety of different applications assist children in exploring literacy and numeracy concepts. Students are learning that technology can be a very valuable source of information indeed!
