Capstone Proposal 2; Abstract Obtaining a PPL is a difficult task for a high school student, especially one who is attending an early college high school. It takes pure determination and time to fully accomplish this goal. For this goal to be achieved, one must put in the effort and log 40 hours in the pilots seat of an airplane. In addition, the pilot obtaining the license will have to undergo numerous tests and exams to make sure the pilot is fit and stable for the license.

Capstone Proposal 3; Obtaining a PPL There is going to be a high demand for commercial pilots and airline pilots within the next ten years. Aerospace is a growing industry and is continuing to become more and more technologically advanced as the years go on. The easiest way to see the world from the sky is attaining a PPL. There are so many different ways of going about it too. There is the college atmosphere, the country atmosphere or the city. Part 141 If the student wanted more of the college feel then student would want to take classes using the part 141 instruction program. Just like college, the student would pay for the classes ahead of time and if the student had something that conflicted with the lesson, then the student would lose the money and still have to make up the time. However, the student, using the part 141 instruction program would only have to have 30 hours rather that the 40 hours a student using part 61 instruction program. Part 61 If the particular student prefers a slower approach at learning and learning on the students own schedule, then the student would prefer the part 61 instruction program. In the duration of this program, students are the schedule makers and can cancel and make appointments at any time that the instructor is available. The student can take as long as it takes to reach the desired amount of time beyond 40 hours of flight time. However, as stated before the minimum amount of hours that this student can have is 40 hours to obtain a PPL. On average a pilot logs 60 hours before feeling comfortable enough to take the pilot check ride.
