An arrow shows that glucose has to go through metabolism to turn into ATP. Then ATP becomes insulin exocytosis.

These pictures shows the metabolism steps food turns into glucose, then glucose turns into ATP/ energy, and lastly it turns into insulin.

Cellular resperation is how plants and animals help each other survive. Metabolism is making sure cells are doing their job. If cellular resperation did not exist then animals would not exist because the sugar or glucose would not be produced. It would not be produced because plants don't need us to live, they can make their own food. We can not live without cellular resperation.
