WHITE COLLAR CRIME IN FOOD INDUSTRY
By Tatjana Papic-Brankov
By Koviljko Lovre
ABSTRACT
Although a food which is obtained from genetically modified plants, is
involved in a food chain of market, there is a large disagreement in the expert
circles about ecology, sanitary and socio-economic consequences of using genetically modified food. Analyzing the past companies of the producer, the
relationship between industry and the U.S. state apparatus, as well as relations between industry and sponsored research institutions and researchers,
the paper concludes that the concept of white collar crime can be applied in
industry, GM food.
