Consider its effects on urbanisation, economy, social class and social standing, health, environment, romance, psychology, belonging, law enforcement etc.
What was first to be a standard transportation mechanism, the car has had made a major impact on the world, especially in developed countries. It has an effect on everyday life in various contexts such as; economic context, cultural context, social context, military context, environmental context, technological/scientific context, historical context and psychological context. The effects of a car, since the 20th century, have been a subject of controversy. Although the introduction of the car had been a representation of mobility and convenience, it has contributed to the changes in the economy. Although it would be impossible to list all the effects the car has made on the economy, to countries such as the UK, Japan, France, Italy, Sweden and Germany, the manufacturing and exporting of motor vehicles are essential in maintaining the balance of international trade. This trade has become a vital element in the economy of industrialized countries. employment distribution, shopping patterns, social interactions, manufacturing priorities and city planning, have all been altered since the introduction of the car.
