Six Practical Ways to Prepare for Missions

1. Pray and ask God what country and or people group He is giving you a burden for. 2. Having the release and blessing from your family and children is invaluable. It is difficult to go and give to the nations what rightfully belongs to our families first. (immediate family being wife and children) 3. Posture yourself Financially owe no man Physically - health Mentally research country/people group as well as language Emotionally mend broken relationships Spiritually continual growth as you study Gods word diligently! 4. With every daily decision you make ask yourself, is this putting me closer to my goal? 5. Submitting to your pastor and having the backing, support and covering of your home church is crucial. That is not to be underestimated. 6. It is not where you live that makes you a missionary... its how you live!
