Surface epoxide modification of SiO2 and its application in protein

Abstract: U sing the surf aces of epo xide gro up KH - 560 t o t he surf ace modificat ion o f t he SiO2 ,
and t he ef fects o n t he nit rog en co nt ent of NR lat ex w ere also invest igat ed on t his paper. T he results
show ed t hat KH - 560 w as linked t o the surf ace of SiO2 by chem ical bond, and t he nit rog en cont ent of
NR lat ex w as reduced to 0. 229 3% by adding KH - 560 modif ied SiO 2 . When pH = 8~ 9, t he m odif ied
SiO 2 granule amount used is 1% , t he pro cess t ime is 6 hour, the nit rog en cont ent of r ubber lat ex w as
reduced to 0. 229 3% .
