JESEPH IN RANKOVICI ‘The parish "St. joseph" of rankovidi is situated near the town of Novi Travnik in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Thewas established in 1937. in that year the smaller shurch wasbuilt and soon in 1970 it was expanded by the parishes, Probably of it and because of bombshells which were fallen naur the church during the last war, the wals ofthe church are started to crack, and there are lots of cracks everywhere in church, so we had to start to build a new. one because of the safety of our believers. After we had taken alineeded permissions for building, we started our action in November 2008. So far we have done the foundations with panel. The foundation s stone was blessed by our eminent cardinal Vinko Puljié, top bosnian archbishop in the 19. th of March 2009. The accounting for the new church done according to project amounts 1.195.000 KM. /610.000 Euros/ We got the offer to continued 354.344 KM, /180,000 Euros/ Our parish has 513 families an 1816 parishes. One number of that families live from the humble pension, and the others who are employed, receive smaill salaries, and there are also lots of them who are stil looking for a job which is hard to find, so we are forced to look for help of others.Our present church is in a such bad condition, that in could start to demolish with just a small quake. To protect the lives of our believers who are comming to Mass on Sundays and on Holidays at our church in a great number, and also to stop the leaving of our parishers, specially the young one, from this beautiful area, we should soon continued wiht our constructions.
