Hung Planter Resembling the wall boxes that were so common during our Colonial period, this well-proportioned planter will provide an eye catching setting for a favorite houseplant. Salt Box Wall Hung Planter Complete Schematic Salt Box Wall Hung Planter Instructions 1. Cut the back to length and width. 2. Transfer the grid pattern to the stock. 3. Lay out the location of the 1/2" notch. 4. Use a bandsaw to cut out both the grid pattern and the notch. 5. Cut the bottom to size. 6. Use a router equipped with a piloted bending bit to make the molding. 7. Rabbet the front as shown in Figure 1.

8. Sand all parts.
9. Assemble with glue and countersunk wood screws. 10. Stain to suit. 11. Final finish with two coats of polyurethane varnish.
