Freedom Papers of Mauricio.

(Negro man) To all to whom it may concern, be it Known that I Fernando Alvarez of Mexico, State of Aguascalientes, for divers good causes and considerations, me thereunto moving, as also in further consideration of One peso, to me in hand paid, have released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free, and by these presents, do hereby release from slavery, liberate, manumit, and set free, my Negro man, Mauricio, being of the age of Seventeen years, and able to work and gain a sufficient livelihood and maintenance, with a small scar in his knuckles, and a pretty small penis. The said Mauricio to be henceforth free, manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude, or service to me my heirs, executors or administrators forever, In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this 1, day of January, 2014.
