Abstract Morgan Adams 11/26/13 5 To improve the worlds energy crisis, with non-renewable energy sources being depleted,

such as fossil fuels, an experiment was created to learn more about collecting energy more efficiently by using a solar panel. A solar panel was laid out in the sun and at certain times the energy collection was read by a digital multimeter based on the angle of the solar panel, and then the temperature of the outside air, the voltage readings then became an average for each of the separate angles and temperatures for that day. The relationship shared between the angle of the solar panel, temperature, and the energy collected is, the two independent variables are the prime factors in the more efficient collection of solar energy. The solar panel collected the most energy at the angle of 0 degrees, and at 65 degrees Fahrenheit outside as the outside temperature. This data would help society know where to put the solar panels in the world and at what degree for maximizing collectivity.
