It is wrong to think that the task of physics is to find out how Nature is.

Physics concerns what we

say about Nature.

Everything we call real is made of things that cannot be regarded as real.

No, no, you're not thinking; you're just being logical.

The opposite of a fact is falsehood, but the opposite of one profound truth may very well be
another profound truth.

We are all agreed that your theory is crazy. The question which divides us is whether it is crazy
enough to have a chance of being correct. My own feeling is that it is not crazy enough.

When it comes to atoms, language can be used only as in poetry. The poet, too, is not nearly so
concerned with describing facts as with creating images.

- Niels Bohr

A human being is part of a whole, called by us the "Universe," a part limited in time and space. He
experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest- a kind of
optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our
personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us.Our task must be to free
ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures
and the whole of nature in its beauty.
