Unmaad (pronounced as Unmd) is the annual cultural festival of Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.

Conducted over a period of three days, Unmaad includes events like dramatics, music performances, dances, quizzes, debates, street plays, professional concerts and fashion show. (31st Jan-2nd Feb 2014) ABOUT UNMAAD Spanning three days and packed with excitement, Unmaad provides you with a platform to flaunt your skills, an arena to gape at talent or just an excuse to come and have loads and loads of fun. Unmaad draws participants from across India and features events like dramatics, music, dance, quiz, debate, street play, professional concerts and the grand Unmaad fashion show among many others. The event has hosted some noteworthy performances by artists, such as Shankar Ehsaan Loy, KK, Kailash Kher, Lucky Ali, Strings, Jethro Tull and Indian Ocean. Unmaad 14 was launched with Coke Studio featuring Amit Trivedi, and promises to be even bigger this year. It will be held from 31st January to 2nd February, so block your dates today! NUKKAD NATAK Clear those throats and rack your brains for Unmaads very own street play competition Nukkad Naatak. Drum it up, break the barriers, let your voices be heard by one and all and compete with some of the finest and most enthusiastic teams from colleges across the country. If theres a social message you want to spread, this is the place to be. PRIZES INR 17,000 INR 8,000 RULES 1 .A team should have a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 20 people (exclusive of all helpers) 2. Registrations will be accepted online through the website prior to the event. No spot registrations are allowed 3. There is only one round 4. The maximum duration for the play is 15 minutes 5. Teams exceeding time limit will be penalized and those crossing 5 minutes extra-time will be disqualified 6. No electronic music instruments will be allowed

7. No sound system or mikes will be allowed 8. Plays with social relevance are expected. 9. Use of fire (even diyas, candles or lighters) and water is not allowed 10. Teams have to bring their own props and costumes
