ISOTOPE

Definition: Atoms with the same number of protons, but differing numbers of neutrons. Isotopes are different forms of a single element. Examples: Carbon 12 and Carbon 14 are isotopes of carbon, one with 6 neutrons and one with 8 neutrons (both with 6 protons .

ISOBAR
Definition: !he elements which atomic number different but atomic weight same are "nown isobar. Example: !elurium 12#$2!e, Iodine 12#$%I &ame atomic weight but different atomic number so those are totall' different elements.

ISOTONE
Definition: !he element atoms where neutron number same but atomic weight atomic number different, called isotone. Example: 146C ( 168) in where neutron number same (8 but atomic weight and atomic number is totall' different.
