The most significant progression in my work this semester has been the jump from producing a few activity kits, to the development of a brand/concept vision. My decision to work around a theme that could be reinforce dissertation has enabled me to develop ideas that are more informed and focus on wider contextual issues. My usual work ethic demands the physical production of ideas, but after becoming increasingly confident using digital mediums, I am spending less time making and more time designing. I am constantly expanding my visual vocabulary through experimentation. Creating digital renderings enables me to consider an idea with heightened awareness of its practicality and feasibility. By adopting more organized and systematic documentation habits, the visible development within my projects has improved.

Hydro and Hypo-trochoid will merge as one, giving me the opportunity to choose what ideas will be taken forward to finalization. I am confident in my decision to continue working on a theme that is current, relevant and surprisingly un-saturated. Aside from my passion for learning new creative skills that could be utilized in many design fields. I have pinpointed a recurring interest and desire to produce educational and creative content that is more functional and more accessible specifically for children. Furthermore, I am keen to integrate science within design, creating marine themed concepts and products. I also plan to create a visual spectacle in an exhibition space that brings all my work together. I now have a check list of tasks and goals to achieve that will bring this hyper-project to a conclusion, leaving me with a diverse portfolio of work, and also a new attitude and awareness for sustainability within packaging and product design. I hope to further my grasp of digital rendering and html coding. And finally, refining my presentation style in concept proposals and themed educational workshops for children.
