IRD has introduced a new, simplified Auto-Verification process by using username and password.

1. How to get Taxpayer username and password?

1) o to your IR! with formal letter re"uesting #a$payer username and password. %) If you ha&e already registered e-mail and ha&e any of the re"uest 'ey that you ha&e re"uested for auto-&erification process pre&iously then follow the steps below(

a). )lic' on *Re"uest +ey* at the top of menu. ,ou can see page as shown abo&e. b). )lic' on *)lic' -ere* at bottom of the page to go to ta$payer registration page.

c). .ill up username, password, pan and any of the re"uest 'ey that you ha&e re"uested and you ha&e got on your email address. If you don/t ha&e re"uest 'ey then clic' on *)lic' -ere* at bottom of page as shown abo&e. 0 Remember your ta$payer username and password and 'eep it confidential. #his username and password you registered can be used to &erify for all returns on future.1

2. How to verify returns using Taxpayer Login?

a). )lic' on *#a$payer 2ogin* menu at the top of the page ..ill up the form and clic' *2ogin* button.

b). 3ow clic' on *2ist 4ubmission* menu.

c). )lic' any of the submission number to fill up form, update or print pre&iew.

d). .ill up the form and clic' update and you will see the page as follows(

f). 5nter all fields and clic' &erify to &erify your returns.

3. How to get submission number from Taxpayer Login?

a). )lic' on *#a$payer 2ogin* in the menu. After entering all fields clic' login. b). 3ow clic' on * et 4ubmission 3o* in the menu.

c). 3ow clic' et 4ubmission 3umber button as shown abo&e.

d). )lic' on *)lic' here* as shown abo&e to fill up your form.
