Q Q

2: My cheque book is CTS-2010 standard compliant. What do I have to do? A: You can continue to use the same and there is no further action required. 3: My cheque book is not CTS-2010 standard compliant. Can I continue to use it? A: As per RBI guidelines, Non-CTS-2010 standard compliant cheques will be cleared through separate clearing session with effect from January 2014 which will cause delay in realisation of Non-CTS-2010 cheques. Therefore, we recommend you to destroy your old Non-CTS-2010 standard cheque book and place a request for a new cheque book.

4: How frequently will these separate clearing sessions for Non-CTS-2010 standard compliant cheques be operated? A: As per RBI guidelines, Non-CTS-2010 standard compliant cheques will be cleared through separate clearing session with effect from January 2014. This separate clearing session will initially operate thrice a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) up to April 30, 2014. Thereafter, the frequency of such separate sessions will be reduced to twice a week up to October 31, 2014 (Monday and Friday) and further to once a week (every Monday) from November 1, 2014 onwards. 5: How do I order a CTS-2010 standard compliant cheque book? A: You can send an SMS <ICBR> to 5676766 from your registered mobile number, or you can place a request for a new cheque book through our ATMs, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, or our 24-hour Customer Care
