Dear Educator, We'd like to invite you to engage your students in a dynamic event, MARKED 2014.

Hosted by The Spero Project, this educational and inspirational event is designed to mobilize the Church to care for marginalized women locally and globally. We believe that the information presented at MARKED will be extremely valuable to your students as they are discovering how to integrate their education, skills, and passions into their lives after graduation. This year's event, held on March 2nd, will focus on three areas: Education, Employment and Relational Engagement, all as means to better the lives of women and to prevent tragedies such as trafcking, incarceration and poverty. MARKED will include interactive learning stations, interactive prayer stations, the Shop Good Market and an Ethnic Food Cafe. And we are particularly excited to share the seminar options with you and your students! Educate, Employ and Engage INTERNATIONALLY Hear the inspirational story of Beatrice Williamson, Founder and Director of Maisha International, as she uses personal experience and organizational knowledge to address the issues of education, employment and relational engagement of women internationally. Following Beatrice, a panel of leaders working with women internationally will answer questions from MARKED participants. Throughout the session, you will discover how education, employment and relational engagement can and should be used to prevent violence against and oppression of women internationally. Educate, Employ and Engage LOCALLY Learn from a panel of professionals who are working for education, employment and relational engagement of women in Oklahoma City. Discover how these focus areas work to prevent many challenges women face, including trafcking, incarceration and poverty, and be encouraged to play your part in serving marginalized women locally.
