The European Union is a complete economic intragration. In the EU, there is only one currency which is the Euro. The Euro is a strong currency, the countries all have trading agreement to be in the EU. Russia is relatively new to the EU, they have adjusted, and all the EU countries have the same EU passport so there is no visa needed when traveling to other countries. Unlike other countries, Russia is only in one trading bloc organization which is the European Union.
