INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES Note: Kindly check your Centre before the exam, if you are not familiar with the Centre location. You should bring the following to the Test Centre:
Two copies of your Test Admit Card (printout). Paste a recent passport size photograph and sign in the space provided on one copy of your Admit Card. One copy of your admit card with photo pasted must be submitted at the exam centre. Two Blue or Black ball point pen Your original ID proof, e.g. Driving License, PAN ID, Passport etc.

Following items are NOT ALLOWED inside the Test Centre:

Calculators, electronic diaries, cell phones, beepers or any similar electronic equipment, cameras and any extra pieces of paper are not allowed inside the Test Centre.

Instructions for the Test: 1. The XAT is of two hours thirty minutes between 10:30 am and 1:00 pm(IST) (including GK) followed by Essay
for 20 minutes between 1:03 pm and 1:23 pm.

2. You should be in your assigned Test Centre by 9:30 am(IST) (at least 60 minutes prior to the scheduled time
for the test).

You should occupy the seat on which your CRN (Centre Registration Number) is mentioned. Do not occupy a seat which has a different CRN pasted on it, even if that seat is unoccupied. Handle the OMR answer sheet very carefully. Do not fold or leave any smudges. Do not give/obtain any help during the test. Do not attempt to answer the paper after an announcement has been made to stop writing at 1:00 pm(IST). Candidates found violating the instructions of the test invigilator, will be disqualified. All rough work should be done only on the margins of the test booklet. Do not leave your seat before the Invigilator personally collects the answer sheet/essay sheet from you at the end of the Test and instructs you to leave the Test Hall.

IF YOUR ADMIT CARD DOES NOT HAVE YOUR PHOTOGRAPH AND SIGNATURE PRINTED GET A PROVISIONAL ADMIT CARD FROM YOUR RESPECTIVE CENTRE. Please go to your respective XAT Centre on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM(IST) along with a print out of the Admit Card, proof of payment for XAT 2014, copy of the XAT Confirmation Page, two passport size photographs, and a photo identity proof along with two photo copies of the same.
