Purpose. MCI course $8.2, Corrections Supervisor, has been published as a part of the Marine Corps continuing education program to provide instruction to all Marines having duties related to the supervision of a Navy/Marine Corps confinement facility. 2. Scope. MCI course 58.2, Corrections Supervisor, addresses the fundamentals of the position of corrections supervisor. The course provides instruction on physical security, custody, control, as well as staffing of a ship's brig, and dealing with a bomb threat. 3. Applicability. This course is intended for instructional purposes only. It is designed for use by Marines in the ranks of corporal - staff sergeant in MOS 5811. 4, Recommendations. Comments and recommendetions on the contents of the course are invited and will aid in subsequent course revisions.
