    I am considering a unit sphere (since size does not matter ) .

    i am doing this only for the simplicity and this can be genralised for any R . area of a splice(for a unit circle )= 2**(b-a) (it is the area of the spherical slice bet een ! = a and ! = b.) since b-a = idth and e ha"e assumed that idth is e#ual $ hence all the guest
