Androcles and the lion A slave named Androcles once escaped from his master and fled to the

forest. Suddenly As he was wandering about there he came upon a Lion lying down moaning and groaning. At first he went over to flee, but realising that the Lion did not pursue him, he turned back and went up to him. As he came near, the Lion put out his paw, which was all swollen and bleeding, and Androcles found that a huge thorn had got into it, and was causing all the pain. He pulled out the thorn and bound up the paw of the Lion, who was soon able to rise and lick the hand of Androcles like a dog. Androcles was with his new friend to parent`s house, they lived over forest. The house was later the forest; there also lived his brother who worked at a circus in charge of animal care. The next day, the Androcles`s brothers reviewed the paw of the lion and put a bandage over the wound, fortunately over time the lion completely cured. Every day, he took the animal to the circus to not feel alone, because there lived more animals of the same species, the lion was very happy because in that circus lived a beautiful lioness which fell in love and had puppies. Androcles also found their other half and for that reason decided to stay and work there. Then teach the lion Androcles to juggle to get to work and support their stay . They traveled aboard the circus with his family around the world, met many countries including: Frances , Italy, Rome, Ecuador , Brazil, Colombia , United States , but they

always returned to his birthplace . They were very famous so both were hired to encourage parties in the royal palace where the king had a birthday.
