. I think your snare and bass drum are a bit tame and weak sounding Ben or at least monotonous and static (i.e. they are too repetitive and dont change in terms of their sound). Dont get rid of them, but rather layer them with some other sounds. Dont layer every snare and bass drum with a new snare and bass sound just choice hits here and there, to give these choice hits more punch and power, as well as contrast to the snare and bass drum that you already have. Probably the easiest way to do this is to bounce out new kick and snare sounds as audio from another Ultrabeat and layer them here and there with the kick and snare that you already have. 2. By the way youve got your kick and snare (kicks in dark blue and snares in red) on the same track! Big no no! Separate them onto 2 separate tracks -> add a new audio track and drag all your snares onto it. 3. You could always try a reverb with a pre-delay time of 136milliseconds (a 16th note). For example:

And then try and gate this snare for example:

Do this on a new snare track and add the odd single snare hit to it every now and then. 4. How about a new bass sound either to replace the one youve got or to layer with it, in the second section where your Amen Break beat kit comes in? For variety and interest?
