The paleotethys finally closed with collision of Cimmerian block and Eurasian plate resulting in the formation of the pontides in northern turkey . The Isfahan basin with uplifted and defomed . it recorded the collosion of blockes in central northern Iran. Block faulting and sea floor sepreadin continued resulting in further of continental fragment between the margin of Arabia and Eurasia .
