Record and Reason Pharmacologist is an essential subject in Physiotherapy, because it is important to know about other treatment could have influence on physical therapy, we can also learn the benefits or side effects that may be could change physical rehab goals. Goal The knowledge of Fluoxetine effects and implication in Physiotherapy Method Medical Bibliographic review Results The Fluoxetine is an antidepressant, serotonin suppressant specifically. It is completely absorbe orally, and the quantity in the target organ is reduced by the liver. The middle life of the fluoxetine is prolonged effect, 40-70hrs, because it binds at the tissue proteins so the elimination by urine and faeces is prolonged too.

Conclusion

In Physiotherapy exist a lot of diseases that they can become a depressive condition for the patient, under this mood, the treatment may be affected on a bias or in full. It is important for us as therapists know the benefits and / or adverse effects of the drug, to detect the reaction in the patient that you are taking fluoxetine so we can provide better service.
