What we are learning: Reading: This week the students will continue to work in their reading groups on developing their reading skills. The students will be focusing on talking about their favorite part of a story and why. Students will be encouraged to make personal connections to stories and be able to give specific reasons why they have chosen certain parts as their favorites. Students will also practice using B-! to retell a story. The students will focus their writing to talk about the Beginning" iddle and !nd of a story. ath: Students will be continuing to work on their addition and subtraction facts up to #$. Students should continue to practice their facts at home. Students will also be learning about place value this week and we will discuss the tens place and the ones place. Social Studies%ST! : This week the students will be completing their animal habitat. The students engineered a blueprint of their chosen habitat and construct it in the ST! lab later this week.
