Union Minister Manish Tewari on Tuesday came down heavily on Chief Minister Arvi nd Kejriwal for threatening to stretch

his protest to Rajpath which could disrup t Republic Day celebrations, saying they were Delhi Government's responsibility too. "Is the central government alone responsible for success of Republic Day celebra tion? Are not the Delhi Chief Minister and other Ministers responsible?," he tol d reporters here, adding that Kejriwal's actions "are a complete disrespect to t he Constitution". The Information and Broadcasting Minister was asked whether the government was p lanning to evict Kejriwal and others from the protest venue. Tewari said the AAP leadership was not elected by the people of Delhi for creati ng such anarchy on the streets of Delhi but to deliver on the promises they made before the elections. "It is very unfortunate. They have let down the people of Delhi through their ac t. They have taken oath in the name of Constitution but the way they are behavin g, it is complete disrespect to the Constitution," he said. Kejriwal and his supporters are demanding action against policemen who they clai med refused to carry out a raid against an alleged drug and prostitution ring on the directions of Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti last week. Their dharna near the Rail Bhavan on a road parallel to Rajpath, the epicentre o f Republic Day festivities here, entered the second day on Monday.
