Description - External The successful candidate would be part of the global fraud modeling team in Global Fraud Risk Management. The candidate will be responsible for developing, validation, implementation and maintenance of next generation of CBO/ Credit Abuse models. These models are applicable at various stages of customer life cycle (e.g., to predict the probability of bust out by a card member, probability of return payment by a bust-out etc.) for worldwide markets and all products (CSBS and Corporate). CBO/credit abuse is essentially fraud being committed by a genuine card member. The nature of the problem is such that it has characteristics of both fraud and credit. As a result, the team leverages techniques and information from both fraud and credit customer management. The specific responsibilities include: 1. Developing and enhancing models by utilizing the best-in-class modeling techniques 2. Track and monitor the performance of CBO/Credit abuse models and conduct reviews. 3. Evaluating new data sources/new variables for their efficacy in the models. 4. Work very closely with other members of the CBO team in Gurgaon and Phoenix. 5. Partnering with other teams to develop system capabilities, models, and designing data elements. Qualifications - External Required Qualifications: The candidate must have the following qualification Masters degree in business, statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering or related fields is strongly desired. Strong analytical, relationship and project management skills for driving large global initiatives. Ability to learn quickly and work independently with complex, unstructured initiatives. Flexibility and adaptability to work within tight deadlines and changing priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience in SAS, SQL or programming is required. Knowledge of Machine learning algorithms and programming language JAVA, Python, Perl will be a plus.
