Scripture﹕ 15But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for
yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served
beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for
me and my household, we will serve the LORD.

Weekly Theme: “Ministry of Chinese School”

1. Pray for the Chinese School teachers in regard to their family, their physical and spiritual
well-being, and pray that their service in Chinese School is filled with love from God.
2. Pray that the teachers know how to teach students with the words from the Bible; Pray
that the students have a fear of God in reverence, have a respect to parents, have a
loving heart; have a good health, and have a peace of life; Pray that the work of the
Chinese school will glorify God and edify people.
3. Pray that the Chinese School will become a soul-saving and gospel-preaching channel
to reach out to those unbelieving young children and their families so that they can be
saved and accept Jesus Christ as their savior.
4. Pray for the Mission organizations﹕ Chinese Christian Herald Crusades;
Missionaries﹕ Rev. Angus & Carol Chu, and Seminary student﹕ Wey Wang
(NYACK); Also pray for the peace and safety of those brothers and sisters who are on
oversea short-term mission.

---English and Youth Ministry:

• Pray for all 7 fellowship groups and the leaders. Pray that more people who are not in
any regular fellowship will come to attend.
• Pray for all students, including college students, who are returning to a new school year.
• Pray for all Fall quarter’s Sunday school classes for all age groups.
• Pray for our Coworkers’ Conference on 9/26 in Tuscarora Inn. Pray that it will be a day
of sharing vision, prayer and fellowship.

• Pray for Fall quarter's Sunday school teachers and helpers.
