A minimum of 60 academic hours of credit is required for admission to the School of Pharmacy. Applicants for admission to the PharmD program are also required to
take the Pharmacy Admission Test (PCAT). All students are urged to consult the Pharmacy admissions website (http://www.pharmacy.unc.edu/admissions) and to attend
an information session (pre-registration required) for more details about the application process.

(*) Level 4 foreign language is only required of students whose placement scores place them into level 4.

(**) Grades of C- or better required in all math and science prerequisites

Note: Beginning with the class matriculating in fall 2007, all students will be required to take a Physiology Challenge Exam during the program orientation. Students
who do not pass the comprehensive examination will be required to take PHYI 203 as part of their pharmacy curriculum.
