Method: -understand the whole meaning of a chapter as a hole -Then i start writing key words for each sections

And i memorize them -recite the words

And usually when I have the key word, i know what is around it Ex: The method of federalism Federalism involves achieving the appropriate balances between: Different levels of authority Democracy and efficiency To achieve the optimum mixture of unit autonomy and overarching harmony common objectives. The pursuit of these objectives must be constitutionalized rather than left to traditional diplomatic devices; it cannot be achieved through either individual unit action or the construction of international alliances. How: Democratic radicalism: federation should be an act of constitutional immediacy. o Aim: European constitution with a broad public support o But: failure of EDC & the Treaty establishing a Constitution for the EU in 2004 & 2005.

instead of trying to remember it as a whole, which would take an awful lot of time

I would remember : method of federalism :

Appropriate balance : different levels of authority ><democracy & efficiency

Optimum mixture unit autonomy overarching harmony; common objectives

How : democratic radicalism : european constitution >< failure of EDC and TEC
