Dr Joshua Busby, Associate Professor, LBJ School, University of Texas at Austin Under what conditions can social movements change markets? Joshua Busby presents the ndings of his new book AIDS Drugs for All: Social Movements and Market Transformations, published in 2013 by Cambridge University Press. With co-author Ethan Kapstein, Busby shows how the global AIDS treatment advocacy movement helped millions in the developing world gain access to life-saving medication. The book draws on a rich set of interviews and some innovative survey experiments to reach its conclusions.
