some string. They string the beads onto the string, and are then asked to separate beads into groups of 10 on necklace. Students then fill in their bead chart. They draw the beads on their paper and fill in the blanks on the sheet: I have________ groups of 10 beads and _______ left over. I have ______ beads all together.

Day 3
Activity- Junk Lasso- St. go to stations that each have a pile of junk and some string. They lasso groups of 10 objects by putting string around them. They then count to figure out how many pieces of junk that they have at that station. They write the answer on their paper, put the junk back into a pile and switch stations.
Terris Group: Tens and ones spinners spin each spinner, put correct 10s and 1s strips in each place. Say the numeral. Stations: Counting tubs to 40 Sorting objects + - folder games Cookie fractions Intro: Activity- Musical Tens and Ones T. calls on 2 st. to come up front. One is in the 10s area and one is in
the 1s area. Each student is given a percussive instrument. T. whispers a number to each student, and they have to determine how many times to hit their instrument according to their place value. Example: The number is 41, so the tens student hits their instrument 4 times, and the ones student hits theirs one time. The rest of the class listens to the percussion and counts by 10s with the 10s person, and adds ones for the ones person. Then, they write the correct number. Terris Group & Christys Group: Hundreds Board Cubes On overhead, T. makes a number with cubes of 10s and 1s. St. find that number on their hundreds board and color it in. T. continues with this until the word Hi appears on their hundreds board.

Day 4
Independent: Valentines day missing numbers hundreds board. Stations: Counting tubs to 40 Sorting objects + - folder games Cookie fractions Computer Lab Activity: My Number Is T. puts each st.s name on a sticky note and covers up a number on the 100s chart with it. The st. then have to figure out what number they have under their sticky.

Game: High number bingo (Giving clues, such asthe number has a 2 in the tens place and a 3 in the ones place.)
