Pistol Youth
...the band made of Cardboard
By Sam Seamus

What happens when all four members of your band live in different countries, and its time to
make a video for your new song...? Well you fly the director armed with a quiver of cardboard cut
outs to each and every member... and take it from there.

This is how the new Pistol Youth video ‘Problematic’ video came about.

Pistol Youth started out as an experiment throughout 2007 when singer and guitarist Bradley
Hanan Carter was on a world tour with Kiwi rock band ‘Steriogram’.

Realising that starting a new band wouldn’t be something to happen any time soon, Bradley
chose three of his close friends from other bands around the world and recorded a six track EP
across the internet without the other members actually meeting.

The EP experiment worked so well that the band decided to record an album... ‘Problematic’ is
the first song from the bands debut album ‘My Own Private Amsterdam’

Bradley lives in Los Angeles / NZ, Bassist Anders Borgh lives in Göteborg Sweden, drummer
Gavin Kerr lives in Tauranga NZ and guitarist Michael Guy Chislett is from Sydney.

PISTOL YOUTH EP is ‘My Own Private Amsterdam’ will be released in November ’09.
