Bravery

By: Logan Williams Ms. Jones English- 3A 20 November 2013

Bravery is being the only one who knows you're afraid. Franklin P. Jones

My theme is bravery. I chose bravery because in the United States of America, if you want to survive a person must be brave. As Americans we must overcome many obstacles like, poverty, inequality, and violence. Being Brave is important because it can help a person follow their dreams, defeat their enemies, and protect a nation. The pictures I chose that represent bravery is the Medal of Honor, Sandy Hook teachers, and the US Military. The Medal of Honor represents bravery because it is the highest honor awarded for personal acts of courage above and beyond the call of duty. The Sandy Hook teachers showed great bravery by protecting as many students as they could, they even died protecting innocent children against senseless violence. The US Military shows us everyday how brave they are by protecting all American citizens from foreign harmful countries.
